Archbold Sesquicentennial Committee Hosting Free Concert

img407 WEBThe Archbold Sesquicentennial Committee is sponsoring a very special free concert at “The Blue” in Archbold On August 11th. The concert features three outstanding performers in and evening of ” Elegance.” Singing songs you love from the 30s to 2000 will be Susan Short, a WHS graduate, Former Miss Michigan, and local Champagne Lady for Lawrence Welk. Roger Short, an AHS graduate, former Director of the Perrysburg Band, and current member of the Perrysburg Symphony will be sharing selections on his trumpet. The renowned pianist, Sheryl Stack of Austin Texas will be at the piano weaving the music for the evening together for a performance that all will remember. Seating at “The Blue” is limited to 100. The show will begin at 7:00 pm and last until 9:00 pm. Reservations may be made in advance by calling 419 445 2022. Dinner can be ordered at “The Blue.” It is recommended that groups arrive early if dinner will be ordered.
