Celebrate Right to Read Week, May 18-22, at the Stryker Branch Library! Take part in exciting programs with this year’s theme “Undersea Treasure!” Area students are invited to visit the library after school to join in the fun.
Guessing jars and a coloring contest will be held throughout the week. Contestants may pick up their coloring page at the front desk beginning Monday, May 18. All entries must be turned in by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 22.
Each day of Right to Read Week will hold something special. Activities start at 3:15 pm and are “Come and Go.” On Monday, May 18 there will be a fun treasure hunt! You don’t want to miss it! On Tuesday, May 19 everyone is welcome to stop in and make an “Under the Sea” craft. “Read-To-Me” will be held on Wednesday, May 20 and sea treasure books will be read. On Thursday, May 21 stories will be read, fun activities will be held, and snacks will be provided. On Friday, May 22 the coloring contest winners will be announced.
