City Of Wauseon Announces 4th Of July Celebrations


1238967_510525325691455_306623646_n_thumb8The City of Wauseon will be hosting a Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration a Biddle Park again this year. Events start at 11 AM with a baseball tournament. There will be inflatables and a cornhole tournament starting at 4 PM. Wauseon Police Dept. will assist with parking of vehicles. Parking will start at the north of Biddle Park and continue south as the evening progresses. There will be viewing areas available to the public throughout the park. Personal fireworks and alcoholic beverages will be strictly forbidden in the park for this event.

Due to the numerous events that are being held this year at the park, you are strongly urged to arrive early for the fireworks event. Biddle Park will be closed to vehicular traffic at 10 PM or earlier if the parking areas become full.

All vehicles at Biddle Park will be required to exit the park onto Glenwood Dr. All other exits will be closed. Vehicles leaving out of the North gate will be rewquired to turn north and travel to Airpoty Hwy. All vehicles leacing the sourth gate will be required to head south to Linfoot St. Due to heavy congestion on N Shoop Ave, Wagner and Banister Drives will be closed to vehicular traffic at 10 PM. Westbound traffic toward Shoop Ave. may be restricted if heavy congestion persists.
