Edgerton Village Council Sets Trick Or Treat Time

By: James Pruitt

Trick or treating in the village of Edgerton will be on the Saturday before Halloween this year.

The Village Council set the time for 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. There will also be a costume contest at the fire barn.

In other news, Administrator Dawn Fitzcharles said the village is accepting sealed bids on the two white Crown Victorias in the parking lot along SR 49. The bids will be accepted until noon Oct. 3.

The village is midway through its utilities billing conversion, but not without some hiccups along the way, Fitzcharles said. The conversion on income taxes to RITA is going along smoothly, she said.

The council went into executive session to hear from a representative of a solar company.

No action was taken.
