Recipients of this degree must have received their State FFA Degree, completed high school, earned or productively invested at least $7,500 in their supervised agricultural experience program, have a record of outstanding leadership abilities and complete at least 50 hours of community service. Approximately 3,500 American FFA Degrees are awarded each year, which represents less than half of one percent of all FFA members.
