Environmental Programs Offered At Edon Library

VR LOGO - WEBSpecial guest Loretta Hayek, Education Specialist with the Williams Soil and Water Conservation District, will be visiting the Edon Branch Library to discuss important environmental issues.

During Family Fun Night at the library, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 28th, Mrs. Hayek will be talking about an Educational Program on Wildlife Adaptation. She will also be reading a story on animal camouflage and lead children in a special game of hide and seek. At 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29th Mrs. Hayek will be presenting a program on Lake Erie Blooms. This program will explore the recent phenomenon threatening contamination of drinking water, which has become a matter of concern as it has impacted our region.
