“Every Hero Has A Story” For Summer Reading At West Unity Library

IMG_0090.JPGWest Unity Branch Library summer reading programs with the theme of “Every Hero Has a Story” will begin with an Opening Party on Tuesday, June 02 at 1:00 pm. All following Tuesdays of summer reading will feature programs with special speakers at 1:00 pm and visits from the Tail Waggin’ Tutors from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

Several designated Tuesdays will feature special programming at 1:00 pm. Learn about Mr. Leu and Super Science on June 09, and take part in Officer Arnold and Super Sleuthing on June 16. An EMT will be speaking at the library on July 14.

On Wednesdays there will be afternoon movie time with free popcorn beginning June 03, at 1:00 pm.

Programs on Thursdays will start on June 05. From 1:00 to 2:00 pm, kids can enjoy stories, crafts, and games. The Tail Waggin’ Tutors will then visit the children from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

The Summer Reading Closing Party will take place on Tuesday, July 21, at 1:00 pm. Come get your picture taken with Johnny, the Fort Wayne TinCaps mascot, and enjoy an afternoon of fun and games.
