Fayette Eagles Pressure Tactics Prove To Be Too Much For the Hilltop Cadets

WEST UNITY – There’s nothing like an effective kick start to a game to get the mental momentum going. Fayette had it on January 10…Hilltop did not.

Chandler Sanford canned a pair of treys and Logan Franks added another to give the Fayette Eagles a 14-6 jump out of the gate, an edge that they never surrendered in a 43-25 BBC win over the Hilltop Cadets.

Franks dropped in a pair of rainmakers in the second, adding to his game-high 12 points, while Sanford finished with 10 for the 7-3 Eagles. Tyler Cox fired off 9 points, with Cole Burkholder getting 7 points, Zayne Colegrove 3 and Patty Hookstadt 2.

Kayne Grime led the 2-7 Cadets with 8 points, with Payne Sentle and Brandon Willis getting 6 points apiece, Erik Stipe 3 points and Xavier Lowery 2.

SCORING BY QUARTER:

Fayette  14  14  3  12 – 43
Hilltop  6  4  7  8 – 25
