Fayette Lady Eagles Go To Town At The Expense Of Liberty Center, 70-41

LIBERTY CENTER – Paige Keefer put in 16 of her game-high 18 points in the second half, and Kaela Seiler and Taylor Griffiths each went for double figures as the Fayette Lady Eagles opened 2012-13 hoops play by rearranging Liberty Center on November 26, 70-41.
Seiler and Griffiths led an early charge that quickly put the Lady Tigers into the rearview mirror. Fayette turned a nine-point first quarter lead into double digits by the half, never looking back after Keefer joined the bucket brigade after the intermission.
Seiler finished with 15 points, while Seiler added 14 and Mikayla Smith added 9 for Fayette. Ashtyn baker put in 6 points, Melani Seiler had 4 points, Jessie Wheeler had 3 points, and Katelyn Bates added a free throw.
