Fayette’s Bean Creek Valley History Center Announces Spring Seasons Mini Tours & Luncheon Series

VR LOGO - WEBFayette, Ohio-The Bean Creek Valley History Center is introducing the 2015 Season’s Ramble series.

The first luncheon will be on Wednesday, March 11th at the Fayette Opera House. Representatives from the Bean Creek Valley History Center will cover a brief overview of the April, May and June Rambles and discuss progress on the new Bean Creek Valley History Center located at the former Fayette Review Office.

The March introductory event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a luncheon featuring chicken soup, biscuits, and cake served at 11:00 a.m.

The April Ramble will be a trip to Defiance to visit the Tuttle History Museum with lunch Following at Breadsticks Restaurant.

In May the group will be traveling to the William’s County Museum for a tour of that facility. Lunch will follow at a restaurant to be announced.

In June the group will travel to The Furth Center and the Ryan Concert Hall at Trine University in Angola. The dining experience for this trip will be announced at a later date.

Each of these mini tours will begin with hospitality at the Fayette Opera House at 9 a.m. Groups will then car pool to the various destinations. The tour returns to the Opera House around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

Many of the tour destinations are selected from the suggestions received by participants who enjoy the Ramble Series.
