Fleming, Davis Lead Bowling Green To 2-1 Win Over Fort Wayne

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Devin Davis homered and had two hits, and Josh Fleming allowed just two hits over seven innings as the Bowling Green Hot Rods beat the Fort Wayne TinCaps 2-1 on Tuesday.

Jhonleider Salinas struck Tirso Ornelas out with a runner on first to end the game for his second save of the season.

Fleming (3-1) allowed one run while striking out two to get the win.

Fort Wayne got on the board first in the fourth inning, scoring on a solo home run by Ornelas.

The Hot Rods tied it up in the sixth inning when Taylor Walls hit an RBI single, scoring Eleardo Cabrera.

The Hot Rods took the lead for good in the seventh when Davis hit a solo home run.

Nick Margevicius (4-4) went seven innings, allowing two runs and five hits while striking out three to take the hard-luck loss in the Midwest League game.
