Four County School Board Meets For The Month Of March


VR LOGO - WEBThe March Meeting of the Four County Career CEnter Board of Education was held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Board Room at Four County Career Center.

During the course of the regular meeting, the following business was conducted:

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board approved:
•February Meeting Minutes, as well as financial statements and investments for the month of February as presented.
•Appropriation modifications as presented and revenue adjustments as presented.
•The “Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying Them to the County Auditor” for FY16 as presented.
•To ratify the contracts for the Interior Renovation Project, effective March 9, 2015.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•The retirement resignation of Edwin Springer, Jr. Carpentry Instructor, effective May 31, 2015.
•The resignation of Kevin Glanz, Custodian, effective March 26, 2015.
•A contract to Terry Eis, Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
•A contract to Patricia Kitchen, Cafeteria Supervisor.
•Certified and classified substitutes as presented.
•Adult Education Instructors as presented.
•Board Policy updates as presented.
•Donation from Dan Leininger for his time in cutting 30 pieces of wood for back braces for the bookshelves in the library.
•Donation from City of Napoleon Fire Departmenr of SCBA Harnesses and Face Shields to the Fire and Rescue Program.
•Donation from Interior Angels (Kathy Rupp) of 199 books to the Interior Design Program.
Under Board Committee and Director Reports, the Board received updates from:
•The Legislative Liaison
•The Directors of Adult Ed and Operations
Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular March Board Meeting on April 16, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the Board Room at Four County Career Center.
