This special event offers guests an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day at Ohio’s largest living-history destination while also learning important wellness information,” shared Kim Krieger, Media Relations. “We also look forward to having many Fulton County residents join us on October 15 for Fulton County Day – a special opportunity for Fulton County residents to visit Sauder Village for free!”
The 2016 Community Health/Fulton County Day is being sponsored by the Fulton County Health Center. Representatives from Fulton County Health Center have many screenings planned throughout the day including blood sugar and blood pressure checks and Dexa Scan and will also be sharing valuable information with guests.
While visiting the Historic Village, guests will also be able to explore a variety of fire and rescue vehicles, learn about train safety, gather information about Alzheimer’s disease, mental health issues and injury prevention. Local agencies will share information about drug/alcohol/gambling addictions, adult/child services, traffic safety, health and wellness, mental health services, medical equipment, and volunteer outreach/adult day care. Complimentary spine health screenings will be available and free child finger printing will be offered by local law enforcement throughout the day.
