Fulton County Issues Indictments Against Pettit, Head, Hawes, Mattin, Burns, Roth, Moll & Fletcher

55823a076b5c2.imageOn April 18, 2016, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County Crimes, according to Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney Scott A. Haselman.

Dustin S. Pettit, age 28, of Montpelier, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Heroin, one count of Possession of Marihuana, and one count of Illegal Use or Possession or Drug Paraphernalia. On or about March 29, 2016, he allegedly possessed heroin and marihuana.

Austin M. Head, age 20, of Delta, OH, was indicted on one county of Aggravated Menacing, one count of Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, and one county of Tampering With Evidence. On or about April 5, 2016, he allegedly had a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle and allegedly tampered with evidence in an official investigation. He also allegedly caused another person to believe that he would cause serious physical harm to that person.

William C. Hawes, Jr, age 40, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Heroin, one count of Possession of Drugs, and one count of attempted Tampering With Evidence. On or about April 7, 2016, he allegedly possessed heroin and suboxone, and allegedly attempted to tamper with evidence in an official investigation.

Robert T. Mattin, Jr, age 22, of Wauseon, OH, was indicted on one count of Failure to Periodically Verify Current Address and one county of Failure to Provide Notice of Change of Address. On or about November 22, 2015 to March 23, 2016, he allegedly failed, as a registered sex offender, to periodically verify his current address. He also allegedly failed to provide written notice to the county sheriff of a change in his address.

Brian A. Burns, age 26, of Delta, OH, was indicted on two counts of Theft and 11 counts of forgery. On or about February 10, 2016 to February 27, 2016, he allegedly stole cash valued at more than $1,000 but less than $7,500. He also allegedly stole and then allegedly forged 11 blank checks from a Delta business.

Justin J. Roth, age 32, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Heroin and one count of Tampering With Evidence. On or about December 22, 2015, he allegedly possessed heroin and allegedly tampered with evidence in an official investigation.

Andrew J. Moll, age 32, of Swanton, OH, was indicted on one count of Possession of Cocaine and two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs. On or about August 31, 2015, he allegedly possessed cocaine, hydrocodone, and oxycodone.

Kelly J. Fletcher, age 43, of Morenci, MI, was indicted on one count of Forgery, one count of Theft From a Person in a Protected Class, and six counts of Misuse of Credit Cards. On or about October 19, 2015, to January 23, 2016, she allegedly stole cash from an elderly person and allegedly forged a sales receipt. She allegedly obtained products with a credit card knowing or having reasonable cause to believe it was stolen from an elderly person.

It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
