Fulton County United Way Announces “Pack” To School Program For County Students

VR LOGO - WEBThe United Way of Fulton County in partnership with Fulton County Job and Family Services will once again be providing the Pack to School program for Fulton County families needing assistance with school supplies.

The Pack to School program helped 1100 Fulton County students start the school year off with needed school supplies last year. “Our goal is to set all students up for success by ensuring they have the necessary supplies to start off the school year,” says Tante Lovins Resource Development and Community Engagement Coordinator of United Way of Fulton County.

This program is based on income eligibility upon completion of a brief application. The qualifying students receive gender and age appropriate hygiene items as well as a backpack and school supplies. The program is open to students attending any Fulton County school district in grades Kindergarten through 12.

Fulton County families interested in this free program should contact United Way of Fulton County at 419-337-9606. The deadline to apply for this program is July 8, 2015.
