Gerald M. “Jerry” Dominique, age 74, of Archbold, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice. Prior to his retirement, Jerry had worked at Johns Manville in Defiance, International Solutions in Bryan, Nafziger Ice Cream in Archbold and Hayes-Albion in West Unity.
Jerry was born in Archbold on October 19, 1941, the son of Leander “French” and Florence (Flory) Dominique. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Archbold. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and sisters-in-law, Vearl (Joan) Dominique, Elmer (Rosie) Dominique, Leroy “Bill” (Sue) Dominique, and Allen (Bonita) Dominique.
Visitation for Jerry will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Archbold, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Father Stephen Stanbery, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peter Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with arrangements.
