Herrera Hits Grand Slam, Leads Louisville Over Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Dilson Herrera hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, leading the Louisville Bats to a 9-6 win over the Toledo Mud Hens on Sunday.

The grand slam by Herrera scored Stuart Turner, Blake Trahan, and Mason Williams and was the game’s last scoring play.

Wandy Peralta (1-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Victor Alcantara (4-1) took the loss in the International League game. Kevin Quackenbush retired the side in order for his 11th save of the season.

Jacob Robson homered and doubled, scoring three runs for the Mud Hens. Edwin Espinal doubled and singled, driving in two runs.
