WAUSEON: February 25, 2014 – The Montpelier Locomotives opened the D-III Sectionals with a matchup against NWOAL rival Delta on February 25. The Locos’ Alex Matzinger hit the ground running in the first period as he poured in seven points and Dalton Surbey added four to lead Montpelier to a tenuous 15-14 lead. The Locos’ wheels began to loosen in the second as Delta regained the lead with a 16-10 run to take a 30-25 lead into the intermission.
