Jean met her future husband, Lloyd while attending Devilbiss High School. They married in 1942 and enjoyed 62 years together until his passing on August 15, 2004.
Jean worked at First National Bank before they moved to Cape Coral, Florida in 1979. While in Cape Coral, she and Lloyd enjoyed playing tennis and bridge daily. While at Elizabeth Scott Community; Jean enjoyed playing bingo, cards and other activities with her many friends.

Along with her parents and husband, Lloyd, Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine. We will always remember her kind and loving ways along with her positive outlook, encouragement, wisdom… and her smile! We will miss her immensely! We are so grateful to the entire staff at Elizabeth Scott Community for their loving care and compassion towards mom, especially the level 2 staff; who seemed to go above and beyond, especially these past few weeks. Also thank you to the nurses of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the wonderful care provided to mom.
