COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Notre Dame has returned to campus the day after Arike Ogunbowale’s epic shot lifted the Irish to their second basketball championship.

Her last-second 3-pointer Sunday night sent Notre Dame to a 61-58 victory over Mississippi State. It will go down as one of the most iconic shots in women’s basketball and forever be remembered in Irish lore.

A few thousand fans welcomed the team in South Bend, Indiana, for a campus celebration that came 17 years to the day since the first title.

Coach Muffet McGraw told The Associated Press she hasn’t decided whether the Irish would accept an invitation to the White House if offered. She says she will discuss it with the team.
