James E. Kiefer (1950 – 2015)

InMemoryJames E. “Jim” Kiefer, age 64, of Stryker, passed away in his home on Monday, June 8, 2015. Jim and his wife Nancy have owned and operated Jacoby Packing in West Unity for 15 years.

Jim was born in Perrysburg on October 22, 1950, the son of Charles and Janice (Henry) Kiefer. On October 29, 1977 he married Nancy Snyder, and she survives.  Jim loved riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.

Surviving is his wife, Nancy; son, Josh (Amanda) Kiefer of Bowling Green; daughter, Valerie Kiefer of Stryker; grandchildren, Lillian and Emma Snow and Adelaide and Jacob Kiefer. He is also survived by brothers, Bob (Linda) Kiefer and Steve Kiefer, both of Perrysburg and sister, Judy (Gator) Rice of Perrysburg. He was preceded in death by parents.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the family’s home at 20379 Co. Rd. H, Stryker, Ohio. The family encourages everyone attending to dress casual.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to Community Health Professionals Hospice of Bryan or the charity of the donor’s choice.
