Kellen Keiser Memorial Run Benefits Fulton Co. Charities

VR LOGO - WEBRunners and walkers still have time to pre-register for the Kellen Keiser Memorial Run scheduled to start at 9:00 AM, Saturday, November 8.

The 5K race, which benefits Relay for Life of Fulton County (Team K-Bob) and Friends 4 the Field, starts and finishes at Fayette Schools. The country-road course will have a water station at the half-way point, one-mile and two-mile splits, as well as refreshments at the finish. The overall male and female finishers in addition to the top three finishers in each age group will receive awards.

In addition to the 5K, a 200 meter (for kids 5 and under) and 400 meter (for kids 6 and over) fun run will be held at 8:45 AM. All kids will receive a finisher’s award.

Participants can pre-register for the 5K online at until November 2 for $20, which includes a shirt. Kids can participate in the fun run for free, but if they want a shirt the cost is $5. Runners/walkers can also register for the 5K at the day of the race beginning at 8:00 AM for a fee of $25. Shirts will be available while supplies last. Packet pickup also begins at 8:00 AM for those pre-registered.

Strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are welcome on the course; however, rollerblades, skateboards, bikes and pets are not permitted. Participants who register for the walking division are not permitted to run. Questions can be directed to Kris Keiser at
