Kramer Leads Indianapolis To 7-3 Win Over Toledo Mud Hens

 TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Kevin Kramer homered and had three hits as the Indianapolis Indians defeated the Toledo Mud Hens 7-3 on Tuesday.
Indianapolis took the lead in the first when it scored four runs, including a solo home run by Kramer.

Trailing 6-1, the Mud Hens cut into the deficit in the third inning when Christin Stewart hit a two-run home run.

The Indians tacked on another run in the eighth when Christopher Bostick hit an RBI double, scoring Eric Wood.

Indianapolis starter Clay Holmes (1-0) picked up the win despite allowing three runs and five hits over five innings. Opposing starter Artie Lewicki (2-2) took the loss in the International League game after a rough outing in which he allowed six runs and 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings.
