Lady Locos Play Host To Patrick Henry Lady Patriots; Fall 12-1


MONTPELIER, April 17– The Montpelier Lady Locomotives played host to NWOAL foe Patrick Henry on April 17 at home, falling to the visiting lady Patriots 12-1.

Toeing the rubber on the mound for the Lady Locos, Jessy Duchene was hit with the loss, going 4 and 2/3’s innings, surrendering 9 hits and allowing 10 runs. Duchene also recorded 3 strikeouts in the loss for Montpelier.

Offensively for the Lady Locos, it was a tough afternoon for the Locos, with Duchene and sister Christy Duchene recording hits in the loss. Sydney Houk turned in a triple in the loss rounding out the Lady Locos offensive output against stellar Lady Patriot pitching.

The loss drops the Lady Locomotives to 4-4 on the season and 2-2 in the NWOAL.
