Local Talent Providing Entertainment At This Year’s Wauseon Farmer’s Market

VR LOGO - WEBThe Wauseon Downtown Association is pleased and excited to sponsor a wealth of local talent at this year’s Farmers Market, beginning on Saturday, June 21 from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Fulton Street across from the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce Office.

On June 21, the Wauseon Downtown Association will be sponsoring Country Music Singer Genevieve Rose, as well as, an Abundance Soaps Demonstration at the Farmers Market. Come on out, and hear some great music and see how soap was made in the 1850’s in a big, old kettle over an open fire.

Many local performers will be showcasing their talents at the Farmers Market over the summer. They include John Reichle on June 28 and July 19 and Steve Snider on July 5 and August 16.

“Like many other communities across Northwest Ohio and across the country, we are seeing a growth in demand for locally grown produce and fresh prepared food products,” shared Wauseon Public Library Director Amy Murphy. “We encourage everyone to come out and support our local producers, vendors, and entertainers. This is a great way to support our local community and to eat healthy at the same time,” explained Murphy.
