Margaret A. Cook, age 83, of Wauseon, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a nurses aid at Columbus Regional Hospital for many years. She was a volunteer at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon and was part of the Fulton County Health Center Auxiliary.
Margaret was born in Columbus, Indiana on March 28, 1932, the daughter of Wallace and Mable (White) Stevens. She married Doug Cook, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Hope Christian Fellowship. Margaret enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting, and Indiana University Basketball. She was also a NASCAR fan and followed Tony Stewart.
Surviving is her son, Danny (Julie) Cook, of Wauseon. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Doug.
Visitation for Margaret will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Hope Christian Fellowship, 15490 St. Rt. 2, Wauseon, Ohio. A Celebration of Margaret’s life will immediately follow at the church at 4:00 P.M., with Pastor Donna Stutzman, officiating.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hope Christian Fellowship Church or the Fulton County Humane Society. Online condolences may be offered to the family atwww.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
