Montpelier Water Fun Day Coming May 28th

IMG_0090-0.JPGJust a heads up that the Montpelier Water Fun Day is scheduled for Thursday, May 28th at the Montpelier Park (at Superior School if the weather is inclement). This program is spearheaded by Water Treatment Plant Supervisor Josh Fritsch and is for Montpelier 4th graders to learn more about water (its uses, different sources, water safety, etc.).

Scheduled presenters include the Montpelier Fire Department, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio EPA, Watson Well Drilling, Montpelier Parks & Recreation, Ohio State Extension, and the Bryan Water Treat Plant. The program runs from 9-2 that day. The kids are divided into groups and visit the presenters on a rotating basis.

They break for lunch from 11-12.

This is a great program and the kids always seem to get really excited about coming. If you have any questions, you can feel free to contact Josh at the Water Treatment Plant at 419-485-0936.
