Nathan J. Goodridge, age 71, of Bowling Green, OH, passed away at his home Tuesday, June 2, 2015 with his wife Carol at his side. He was born in Alameda, CA on November 1, 1943 to the late Nathan F. Goodridge and Eleanor (Phillips) Goodridge.
Nathan was a Vietnam Veteran having served with the U.S Marines. On May 28, 1988 he married Carol J. Nichols in San Bernardino, CA and she survives. Before his retirement, Nathan was Vice President of Transportation for Home Savings of America. He was an avid Michigan sports fan, everything from football, basketball to softball. He was also a staunch Marine.
In addition to his wife of 27 years, Carol; he is survived by three children, Danielle (Jeff) Watson, of Cumming, GA, Karen (Barry) Harper, of Gilbert, AZ and Nathan “Jim” (Jolee) Goodridge II, of Southern CA; and four grandchildren, Kelsey and Bailey Watson, Ashley Jacusis and Emma Goodridge.
A memorial service for Nathan will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be private at Greenlawn Cemetery.
