North Central Eagles Open 2014 Campaign; Host Out Of Conference Foe Archbold

ARCHBOLD: APRIL 1, 2014: The North Central Eagles opened the 2014 baseball season, hosting Archbold from the NWOAL on April 1. The visiting Blue Streaks pulled away and recorded an opening win 8-1, despite a solid opening day offensively for Clayton Ferguson, who hit for two doubles with the sole RBI of the game.

On the mound for the Eagles, Brandon Turner went six, giving up seven hits and six runs. Dylan Hutchinson also went two innings, allowing three hits and two runs in the loss. Offensively for the Eagles, in addition to Ferguson’s impressive output, Colton Pilmore and Jordan Reeves also record hits, with each popping a single.
