Cleveland.com reports that the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office last week searched Schwerman’s home and found the $20,000 utility vehicle, a $9,000 lawnmower, a shed, a furnace, water heater, thermal cameras and a snow plow. Authorities say Schwerman bought the items using Strongsville district accounts.
The investigation of Schwerman began last year after an anonymous tip to the school district.
Court records don’t indicate whether Schwerman has an attorney. He doesn’t have a publicly listed telephone number.
