CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS … Four County Career Center students united in a school-wide effort and raised over $2,300 and collected toys for the annual Christmas for Kids campaign sponsored by Mix 98.1-WDFM and the U.S. Marine Corps. Students, led by the Student Council, raised money through a Duck Dynasty Dance, OSU/Michigan competition, snowmen and small Christmas tree sales, gingerbread houses competition, Christmas t-shirts & jeans day, and individual class projects. All career and technical clubs at the Career Center participated and through their involvement will bring a happier Christmas to children in Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, and Williams counties. Shown in the back are students wearing the Christmas for Kids t-shirts. Standing in front during the presentation of the money raised at the Career Center are (LEFT TO RIGHT) Bill Zimmerman, Retired U.S. Marine; Floyd Puffenberger, Retired U.S. Marine; Jordan Sanders, Law Enforcement & Security Tactics (Fairview); Rick Small, Clear Channel’s Director of Operations; Ray Dailey, Retired U.S. Marine; Angela Ballard, Student Council Advisor; and Brent Roughton, Clear Channel Account Executive.
