Pettisville Blackbirds Dropped By The Delta Panthers In Season Home Opener

PETTISVILLE – The Pettisville Blackbirds dropped their home opener for the 2012-13 season, falling to Delta by a 51-43 score on December 1.
Delta took a modest two-point first period lead, and expanded it to a 38-28 advantage going into the final frame. Pettisville was able to cut some of the deficit, but the buzzer put the kibosh on the rally.
David Reyes went off for 13 points for 1-1 Pettisville, while Tanner Rufenacht and Jacob Valdez added 7 and 6 points respectively. Dominic Frey, Austin Dykstra and Kurt Siegel each hit for 4 points, Forest Stuckey knocked down 3 points and Jeremy Mann had a deuce.
