On Feb. 14, 2015, Ricky L. Hartman Jr., age 24, of Bryan OH, was driving a 2014 Nissan traveling north on SR-15. Mr. Hartman failed to see and struck the 2013 Chevrolet belonging to Kenneth Light, age 59, of Montpelier, who was stopped on the roadway due to weather conditions.
On Feb. 14, 2015, Sharon K. Crow, age 70, of Montpelier OH, was driving a 2012 Ford traveling north on SR-15 and slowed for stopped traffic and struck an unknown unit. She was then struck by a third unit. The crash remains under investigation.
On Feb. 16, 2015, Matthew H . Huffman of Edgerton, OH, reported that sometime between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM, someone damaged his mailbox. The total loss was undetermined at this time and the complaint remains under investigation.
On Feb. 16, 2015, Randy J. Nihart of Edgerton, OH, reported that sometime between Saturday afternoon on Feb. 14 and Monday afternoon Feb. 16, someone damaged his mailbox. The total loss was estimated at $75 and the complaint remains under investigation.
On Feb. 18, 2015, Alan W. Jones, age 19, of Bryan, Ohio, was arrested on one count of Domestic Violence and transported to CCNO.

FULTON COUNTY COmmon pleas
A Defiance man was sentenced on February 19, 2015, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Jason Duckworth II, 19, of 1216 Emory St, previously pled guilty to Forgery. On September 2, 2014, he was passing counterfeit currency at the Fulton County Fair. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Duckworth to 2 years of community control and ordered him to obtain his high school diploma or GED, seek and maintain employment, pay a $250.00 fine, abide by an 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM curfew, and serve 7 days in CCNO. Failure to comply could result in Mr. Duckworth spending 11 months in prison.
Jessica Sharp, 24, of 450 W. Main St, Lot 43, Delta, Ohio, previously pled guilty to Selling Dangerous Drugs at Retail. On July 21, 2013, she sold Gabapentin and Quetiapine Fumarate. Judge Barber sentenced Ms. Sharp to 2 years of community control and ordered her to successfully complete drug treatment at Serenity Haven, make restitution of $10.00 to the MAN Unit, abide by al 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol or illegal substances, have her driver’s license suspended for 6 months with privileges, and serve 10 days in CCNO with credit for 10 days already served. Failure to comply could result in Ms. Sharp spending 12 months in prison.

The Fulton County Crime Stopper Program would like your help in solving the following crimes:
Authorities are investigating the theft of a log splitter. On January 18, 2015, the owner reported it missing from the property at 338 E. Main Street, Metamora, Ohio. The 6 1/2 hp red splitter was on wheels and had a lock on the hitch. It is valued at $1,100.
Authorities are also investigating a home invasion at 4970 County Road 2, Swanton OH. On January 26, 2015, the homeowner reported that the residence had been broken into between 9 a.m and 4 p.m. A sliding door was broken to gain entrance. The home was ransacked. Approximately $5,000 worth of property was taken including a Samsung 37-inch tv; a Samsung 32-inch tv; Sony DVD player; 2 Ipads; a Fossil women’s watch; bracelets; necklaces; diamond bracelet and a piggy bank.
