FULTON COUNTY COMMON PLEAS
A Napoleon man was sentenced on March 14, 2016, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Harold Holt, Jr., age 61, previously pled guilty to Trafficking in Drugs. On September 19, 2014, he sold Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Holt to 2 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, including court appointed counsel fees, pay restitution of $490 to the MAN Unit, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol or any illegal drugs, serve 7 days in CCNO with credit for time served, be assessed by Wauseon Wellness Recover & Support Center or Maumee Valley Guidance Center, and successfully complete all recommended treatment, and suspended his driver’s license for 6 months with privileges for work and medical and probation appointments. Failure to comply could result in Mr. Holt spending 11 months in prison.

FULTON COUNTY SHERIFF
Sheriff Roy E. Miller announces that the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Traffic Enforcement Blitz that ran March 12 through March 18, designated St. Patrick’s Day Blitz. Deputies who worked this Blitz made 47 traffic stops and issued 13 citations. The citations issued were for 11 speed violations, driving on a suspended or revoked license, and a marked lanes violation. Deputies also issued 36 warnings during the Blitz. The Traffic Enforcement Blitzes are paid for from a Grant that the Sheriff’s Office receives from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Sheriff Miller and dis deputies are dedicated to protecting the citizens of Fulton County and the motorists who travel is highways. This Grant allows for extra patrol to enforce traffic laws that will increase the safety of motorists on the roadway in areas that are prone to a higher number of serious and fatal crashes.
