Santa takes the hand of Chloe Littin as she tells him her Christmas wishes.
Santa made a grand entrance in Pioneer, Ohio, Tuesday evening, arriving in a village fire truck escorted by a police car driven by Jon Roberts with lights flashing and sirens blaring. Local children had been waiting patiently for his arrival, eager to sit on the Jolly Elf’s lap and tell him their Christmas wishes.
Santa, whose real name is Saint Nicholas, but whom some say resembles Mike Travis, was more than accommodating, taking time from his busy North Pole schedule to visit area children.
Though the temperatures in the low 30 degrees seemed chilly to those who waited, bundled up against the cold, this must have felt like tropical weather to Santa as he sat in the gazebo downtown and sat wee ones on his lap.
No doubt that all of the children who visited with Santa that evening were on his Nice list!
