VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL

Archbold 73, Tinora 65 – (No game stats received)

Montpelier 63, North Central 44 – The Locomotives took a 30-17 advantage into the lockerroom as they sailed through the second half to secure the non-league win. Michael Blake led with 21 points followed by Kolden Uribes’ 14 points and 12 points from Dalton Surbey. North Central was paced by Nick Henry’s 13 points.

Hicksville 58, Pettisville 37 – The Blackbirds were held to 22 points over the first three quarters and though they outscored the Aces in the fourth quarter it was not enough to generate a win. Gabe Beck led Pettisville with 17 points.

Fayette 41, Evergreen 16 – The Vikings struggled offensively as the Eagles cruised to a non-conference win. Joel Smth dropped in 15 points and his team mates Jerad Seiler and Tristen Bates finished with 12 points.

Wauseon 62, Elmwood 32 –  The Indians began to pull away in the second quarter and then put the game away winning the third quarter 22-4.  Carter Bzovi led the Tribe with 16 points while Luke Rychener added 14 points. Dominick Etue and Chandler Lumbrezer led Evergreen with six points apiece.

Delta 63, Pandora-Gilboa 56 – (No game stats received)

Antwerp 58, Edon 41 – A 14-30 stretch over the second and third quarters proved costly for the Bombers in the loss to Antwerp. Edon had two players in double figures with Jim Peckham leadning with 16 points and Braden Miller with 13 points.


JV BOYS BASKETBALL

Wauseon 35, Elmwood 18 – (No game stats received.)

Fayette 33, Evergreen 13 –  The young Eagles got 11 points from Cole Stuckey and 10 from Travis Wagner as they rolled past Evergreen.  The Vikings were led by John Machacek with four points.

Montpelier 40, North Central 29 – Blake Bumb put his team on his shoulders and carried them through the contest as he finished with a game-high 24 points.  The Eagles got double figtures from Keean Livensparger with 13 points and Cody Tomblin with 12 points.

VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL

Delta 53, Lake 50 –  Morgan Mattimore continued on her scoring supremacy with 31 points as the Panthers won their latest date on the calendar. Mattimore was 13 of 23 from the field including 1 of 2 from 3-point range. She was six of seven from the foul line. Maddie Mattimore added nine point in the win. It was the 22-14 advantage over the last eight minutes that allowed the Panthers to squeak out the win.

Archbold 44, Napoleon 41 (OT) –  The two non-league foes went to battle for four quarter and when the final buzzer sounded they had finished in a tie at 37-37. In the overtime session, the Streaks were able to outscore the Wildcats 7-4 to walk away with the three-point overtime win. Cassi Wyse led Archbold with 14 points. Kierstyn Repp added two 3-points shots and finish. Emie Peterson finished with nine also.
