Second Half Surge Helps The Fayette Lady Eagles Swamp Sand Creek On January 28th

N1212P52016CFAYETTE – The Fayette Lady Eagles welcomed in the Lady Aggies of Sand Creek for their first visit to Eagle Country on January 28. The Lady Aggies were able to hang tough for the first half, but after the intermission, the Lady Eagles went on a 22-8 run to turn a three-point lead into an eventual 66-44 shellacking.

The balanced attack of the Lady Eagles proved to be the difference as Kaela Seiler posted a team-high 14, with Ashtyn Baker adding 12 and Alexis Fruchey 11 points. Mikayla Smith and Taylor Griffiths each had 9 points, Paige Keefer finished with 6 points, Cady Stockburger landed a trey and Jessie Wheeler hit a deuce.
