Members were reminded of Quality Assurance Testing on April 14th and April 25th at 9 a.m. and on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gillette building on the Williams County Fairgrounds. The Horse Quality Assurance will be on May 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Thaman Building on the Williams County Fairgrounds.
Club members Rachel Webb, Katie Dorsten, Haylee Collins, Shawn Hager, and Liana Fisher gave demonstrations. The Clover Buds took a field trip to local farms to learn about sheep and alpacas.
The Stars of 4-H also recently held their fifth meeting of the year at the First Church of Christ in Bryan. Club members were reminded of the Fundraiser pick-up on April 28 from 4-5 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office. T-shirt Committee members gave their report.
Members were reminded of the following events or deadlines: Camperships Applications and Dog I.D. forms are due May 1; Quality Assurance meeting will be on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gillette building on the Williams County Fairgrounds; Dog & Small Animal Clinic on April 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office; and Booth Poster Contest due May 12 at 4:30 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office. Katlyn Markwood, Aisyah Fisher, Tristan McGuire, Hannah Maxcy, and Erika Grime gave demonstrations.
The Cloverbuds made mobiles out of alpaca hair and wool for their craft projects.
The next meeting will be on Sunday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the First Church of Christ at Bryan.
