DELPHOS – On Saturday, September 13th, the North Central Eagles and Stryker Panthers made the long trip to Delphos Country Club to participate in the Delphos Jefferson Invitational. The two BBC teams, along with thirteen other squads, battled the wet conditions and unseasonably cool temperatures throughout the day. When all the scores were tabulated the Panthers brought home a second place finish firing a respectable team score of 333. The Eagles ended the day with a team score of 376, which was good enough for seventh place on the day. Kalida collected the championship trophy with a score of 322.
Tanner Clingaman led the way for Stryker with a 78, which was good for the third lowest individual score. Hayden Clingaman had an 81, while Chad Ruffer and Cody Hall carded rounds of 87. Austin Frisbie closed out the round with a score of 92 for the Panthers.
For North Central Jordan Reeves was low man with an 86, while David Pinc was right behind with an 87. Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles were Brock Zuver 94 and Allyson Hutchison 109.
Both teams will be competing in the BBC Championship on Thursday, September 18th at Ironwood Golf Club.
