Stryker Lady Panthers Stop Fayette At Home To Move To 1-1 In The BBC

STRYKER: April 11– The Stryker Lady Panthers hosted Fayette on April 11, looking to avenge a close loss to Edon to open the BBC season. The Lady Panthers opened the game with an offensive explosion going up 5-0 in the 1st inning and hold the lead throughout.

On the mound for Stryker, Conner Varner took home the win, going 5 innings giving up 2 runs off of 2 hits and recording 2 strikeouts. Varner also blasted a triple offensively, while Taylor Haines, Megan Neville, Miranda Pegorch and Conner Sullivan connected for singles in the win.

For the Lady Eagles, Leah Bussing was hit with the loss, going 5 innings giving up 12 runs. Kahner Galloway and Jena Myers each chipped in a hit in the game, recording singles.
