Stryker Panthers Travel To Ayersville For Double Header; Drop 2 Games To Pilots

AYERSVILLE– The Stryker Panthers traveled to out of conference opponent Ayersville on Saturday, April 12 for a double header with the Pilots, falling 6-0 in the first game and dropping the second outing 6-1. The setbacks drop the Panthers to 1-4 on the season, while remaining at 1-0 in the BBC.

Game #1

Cody Hall went the distance in game 1 for the Panthers on the mound, allowing just 4 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 6 in the loss.

Offensively for Stryker, game 1 was a difficult battle, recording just 1 hit in the game when Brody Shock connected for a single and the lone hit of the game.

Game #2

Dean Beamont went the distance for the Panthers in game 2, giving up 5 hits and allowing 6 runs. Beamont also recorded 3 strikeouts while allowing 9 bases on balls.

Offensively for Stryker, the Panthers managed just 4 hits in the game, Beamont, Colton Benson, Brody Shock, Parker Ruffer and Zach Birky each connecting for singles in the loss, with Ruffer driving in 1 RBI.
