Stryker’s Hunter Clingaman Receives Outstanding Student Award At Northwest State


IMG_0090.JPGDr. Stuckey, President of NSCC, announced at the 2015 commencement ceremony, Hunter Clingaman as the recipient of the President’s Outstanding Student Award. This award is given to a student who has gone above and beyond, both on campus and in the classroom.

Hunter Clingaman resides in Stryker, Ohio, son of Jamie and Dawn Clingaman. Hunter graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. While attending classes at Northwest State, he also secured an internship at General Motors in Defiance that allowed him to gain valuable work experience while working toward his degree. He was a Presidential Scholar and member of Phi Theta Kappa. He will be continuing his education at NSCC and Miami University to finish his Bachelors degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering and also will be continuing his Internship with General Motors in Defiance.
