Swanton High School Holds NHS Induction Ceremony

The Swanton High School chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony at Valleywood Golf Club on Thursday evening, April 28, 2016 and inducted twenty-one new members from the Class of 2018. To obtain membership in this exclusive and prestigious organization a student must excel in four areas for two consecutive years. They are Scholarship (GPA), Leadership, Service, and Character. In addition to the inductees, five new officers, who will be responsible for running and maintaining the organization, were selected and “pinned” to begin their new duties.

For the 2016-2017 school year the new officers are Allison Mishka (President), Madelyn Silveous (Service Vice-President), Morgan Eitniear (Technology Vice-President), Kaitlyn Anderson (Secretary) and Deanna Herr (Treasurer).
