TINORA – What started off bad for Pettisville against Tinora on December 8 got worse…post haste. With shootist David Reyes effectively shut down, the Rams went off on a scoring spree that saw them jump out to a 20-4 lead after the first period. Had it not been for the team-high 14 from Dominic Frey, the overmatched Blackbirds would have been victims of a more lopsided decision than the 66-36 score that they endured.
Frey was the lone Blackbird to reach double digits. Forest Stuckey put in 5 points before fouling out in the fourth quarter. Kurt Siegel and Korben Rychener each had 4 points, Reyes was stymied at 3 points, and Tanner Rufenacht, Jeremy Mann and Jacob Valdez each had 2 points.
SCORING BY QUARTER:
Tinora 20 12 17 17 – 66
Pettisville 4 13 8 11 – 36
