Two Additional Wauseon Students Detained By Authorities For Threatening Comments

On Thursday, February 22, 2018, two additional Wauseon High School students were detained by the Wauseon Police Department for previously making threatening comments.

The students in question were immediately removed from the building and a thorough search of the students’ lockers and personal belongings uncovered no weapons or other dangerous items.

The building was not placed into a lockdown situation.

Parents of WHS students were informed again today via the PowerAnnouncement system of this incident.

As with any student disciplinary actions, the students’ names are being withheld.
