On June 2, 2015, Williams County Deputies attempted to stop Dustin Dobbelaere, age 30, of Oakwood, Ohio, at Moore Park in Bryan, Ohio on a warrant out of Paulding County. He fled the scene in his 2002 Chevy Silverado truck and headed south out of the City of Bryan while being pursued by Deputies and the Bryan City Police.
Deputies continued to pursue Mr. Dobbelaere across Defiance County and into Paulding County. Mr. Dobbelaere was eventually stopped and taken into custody without incident on CR-192 at SR-49 north of Antwerp.
Mr. Dobbelaere is charged with felony fleeing and eluding in Williams County. He will be facing additional charges from the MAN UNIT and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.
He was transported and held at the Putnam County Jail.
Mr. Dobbelaere’s passenger, Tiffany Fivecoat, age 30, of Stryker, Ohio, was arrested on a probation violation. Ms. Fivecoat exited the vehicle during the pursuit in Williams County. She was transported to CCNO and held.
The Williams County deputies were assisted by the Bryan City Police Department, Defiance County Sheriff’s Office, Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, MAN UNIT, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Antwerp Fire Department.
