Thanks to the efforts of dedicated volunteers, including the Edon FFA Chapter, Superintendent Ed Ewers, Principal David Kennedy, seniors from Mark Blue’s government classes and the Edon Area Chamber of Commerce, Walz Park’s annual Festival of Lights was ready just in time for Santa’s scheduled arrival on November 25. From organizing candy canes and lighted children’s toys to replacing hundreds of burned out colored bulbs, everyone pulled together to once again provide the community with a spectacular Christmas display for the holidays. Senior Becky Fisk pauses to invite everyone in the community to take time and visit this delightful winter wonderland with family and friends throughout the upcoming weeks.
