Wauseon Defends Home Course Against Montpelier And Delta

September 4th-WAUSEON: Ironwood Golf Course became a battleground on September 4, serving as the backdrop of a three-way slug fest between host Wauseon and visitors Montpelier and Delta.

It was the Indians who came out on top, pulling away from their competition with a collective round of 159. Montpelier claimed second place at the match with its score of 191. Delta came in last place with a 201.

Wauseon’s Brady Rupp won medalist honors at the event, putting up a 34. David Williams added a 40 to the victory effort, while teammate Trevor Dominique fired a 42. Chase Brock completed the Indians scoring with a 43.

Hunter Shanll shot a 44 to lead the way for Montpelier. Loco Andrew Luke offered up a 46. Sam Rings swung his way to a 49, and Clay O’Neal shot a 201
