Wauseon FFA Installs Hydroponics Unit To Grow Their Own Plants

IMG_1973-WEBWauseon FFA installed a small hydroponics unit to help students learn how fruits and vegetables can be grown inside. Students are learning about water quality issues and plant nutrient needs. This system can currently hold 360 lettuce plants when fully planted and 144 strawberry plants. If all goes well we are hoping to have strawberries around February.
