Wauseon Indians Blast Evergreen 10-2 To Remain Perfect In The NWOAL


EVERGREEN: April 24– The Wauseon Indians remained perfect in NWOAL play on the season with a 10-2 pasting of the Evergreen Vikings 10-2 on the road on April 24.

For Wauseon on the mound, Jacob Newlove recorded the victory, throwing 4 innings in the game, allowing just 4 hits and 1 run in the game while fanning 3 Viking batters. Axel Bueter closed the game, throwing 2 innings allowing 1 run off of 1 hit.

Offensively for Wauseon on the game, Bueter, Caleb Andrews and Newlove were each credited with 2 RBI’s from the batter’s box, while Ty Suntken, Clay Tefft and JJ Kauffman each drove in runs on the day.

The victory moves Wauseon to 10-4 overall on the season.
